When I didn't receive the cards for several more days I called back and requested the delivery confirmation number and it was never provided. Me and my friends spend close to $500 dollars a month on magic and it is a shame that Merlin won't be getting of that money for a while. Could have easily been resolved if they just followed up and took the time to make sure my cards were shipped one of the three times they told me they were shipped or if they ever called me back when they said they were going to with a status on my order. Sticking with Black and Blue magic for now. Never an issue and always lightning quick. Sorry Merlin, but you're in the same boat as Bigfireball as far as knowing what you are doing and where your orders are. Good thing is that he refunded me ASAP which I guess is worth a little credit. From Merlin's Games: The order was sent and the disappearance of this order was highly suspicious at best. When talking to this customer, we agreed to give the order another day to see if it was just slow in the mail. We confirmed that the cards were shipped each time he called (not sure how the answer would change after the first inquiry). He put in a charge back within an hour of our conversation. Spending $500.00 per month with your buddies doesn't count for much if you file a charge back shortly afterward. |

On March 23rd, I ordered 4 sinew slivers and 4 moldervine cloaks, items which Merlin's Games had plenty of in stock (and still do). I also ordered from CCGBot the same day. I recieved my order from CCGBot about 5 days later, but expected this one to take a bit longer, as I had ordered 5-7 day shipping. About two weeks went by, and on April 6th, I sent an email to the owner of Merlin's Games asking if there was a problem with my order. No reply. So on Tuesday of the next week, I sent an email to the sales department. Also, no reply. On April 17th, I called their customer service line twice to receive a voicemail. I figured I would try again the next day. I called again on the 18th and this time left a message, asking them to call me back and inform me of my order status. Today is April 24th, and I have yet to receive my cards, or a phone call or an email or anything. I ordered 3 dollars worth of cards, and paid 3 dollars for shipping. How hard is it to send out 8 cards? They screwed me out of money and I will never order from this company again. They could have called me up and lied to me about sending my cards and I would have been okay with it. Apparently, they don't want to put any time into sending your cards or getting back to you when you contact them. There are many better sites to go to if you want cards. Don't waste your time on this site. |
